2016 AAGA Senior Two-Ball Championship

Monday, September 26th, Chemewa Golf Club

The Foxboro pair of Dave Bears and Georg Hartvig took the “Net” honors at the third Annual Attleboro Area Golf Association Senior Two-Ball played Monday, 9/26 at North Attleboro’s Chemewa Golf Club.
The steady pair did not have a net five on the card with nines of 30-28 for a ten under par 58.
They were well clear of the last years champions, Peter Gay and Jack Janick who posted a respectable 61.
A clean sweep for Foxboro as Richard Ringler and Dennis Buckley prevailed in a sudden death playoff with Norton’s Dave Turgeon and Bill White to take the “Low Gross” honors. The Ringler- Buckley duo birdied the second hole of the playoff. Both teams had gross scores of three under par 65.
