The emphasis in the Renner Two Ball is net score, but we would be remiss if we did not mention the fine round that Ryan McGovern shot on the first day of the tournament – a 3-under-par round of 68 with 3 birdies and an eagle, with just two bogies. Ryan and his partner, Santos Mercado, led in the net division with a 10-under-par round of 61. Kevin and Mark Willwerth were in second at the end of day 1 with a 9-under-par round of 62.
The AAGA is very thankful to Wentworth Hills Country Club's staff for their help hosting the 7th annual Renner Memorial Scholarship Two Ball.
The AAGA also wants to take this opportunity to thankall those who have taken the time to participate, not only in this tournament, but all of our events ofour 2019 season.
